UNLV Health in Las Vegas, NV, seeks a Pharmacist to manage daily pharmacy operations, dispense medications, and supervise per diem pharmacists and technicians. The Pharmacist will interpret orders, ensure safe dosing, and educate patients on proper medication use.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders.
• Maintain workflow and inventory, ensure compliance with pharmacy board regulations.
• Direct technicians’ workflow; verify labeling, orders, charges, and inspections.
• Comply with state and federal drug laws.
• Oversee pharmacy technicians' work.
• Maintain up-to-date registrations and knowledge of applicable legislation.
• Protect patients and staff by infection-control protocols.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment and follow procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and case managers at Mojave counseling.

Formação académica
