Job summary

ASK Consulting is seeking a Pharmacist for the Evening Shift to dispense prescriptions and coordinate clinical services at the Las Vegas branch. The role involves translating prescriptions, preparing compounds, and communicating with patients and physicians by phone or mail for ongoing patient care.

Qualifications

• Requires active state pharmacist license and PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy.
• Minimum 1 year IV/Infusion experience.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Review patient profile for interactions, sensitivities and drug usage.
• Determine if physician clarification or intervention is needed.
• Enter prescriptions into the computer.
• Assist patients with prescription questions/concerns.
• Coordinate with physicians to resolve questions or follow-up.
• Maintain procedures for quality assurance and controlled substances safety.
• Dispense prescribed medications and perform final dispensing checks for accuracy.
• Work with pharmacy staff to ensure prescription accuracy and efficient patient care.
