Job summary

Riverside Medical Clinic in Riverside, CA is seeking a Practice Supervisor to provide tactical leadership across service delivery and financial performance, coordinating day-to-day operations of multiple clinics.

Under the supervision of the Practice Administrator, you will coach staff, manage scheduling, ensure compliance, and drive patient-centric care while upholding standards and improving clinic efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of ambulatory care operations.

Responsibilities

• Assign duties and examine work for accuracy, timeliness, and conformance to department standards.
• Orient and train new employees; maintain and develop skill levels; provide instructions.
• Identify problem areas such as understaffing, customer complaints, and inefficiencies; take corrective action.
• Model, maintain, and promote customer service skills and standards.
• Support processes and systems to enhance customer service by coaching staff and ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff, providers and visitors.
• Assist in managing the revenue cycle and support management of supply costs; track inventory usage.
• Coach, evaluate, and recognize staff; initiate disciplinary action when necessary.
• Determine workload priorities to enable timely completion of tasks; monitor performance.
• Direct and assist staff in conflict resolution and serve as information resource.
• Maintain attendance records and time sheets; payroll submission.
• Handle personnel duties: counseling, interviewing, hiring, termination.
• Ensure expired samples are discarded; participate in work groups for improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.
