A leading healthcare provider in Washington is looking for a Clinic Operations Representative. This position involves providing patient services and administrative support within a clinic setting, ensuring accurate scheduling, registration, and billing while interacting with patients and parents effectively. The ideal candidate should have strong customer service skills, a high school diploma, and relevant experience in the healthcare environment.
This position reports to the Clinic Operations Supervisor or Clinic Operations/Practice Manager. It provides patient services and administrative support in clinic operations. The role involves interacting with parents, patients, physicians, and staff under moderate supervision in a courteous manner. Responsibilities include assisting other employees within and outside the department, collecting and verifying demographic information, notifying patients of scheduled services according to managed care requirements, scheduling specialty appointments, and floating to other clinics or ROCs as needed. The next career step is toward a Senior Clinic Operations Rep or Team Lead position.
Minimum Education
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Minimum Work Experience
At least 1 year of experience in billing, patient registration, scheduling, medical insurance verification, and insurance screening (Required)
Required Skills/Knowledge
Broad clinic knowledge, customer service skills, computer proficiency, experience with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) preferred, completion of Ambulatory Services training, and typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.
