Job summary

Columbia River Health seeks a Clinic Operations Manager to lead daily clinic operations, blending clinical expertise with strong administrative oversight. You will drive patient flow, staffing, onboarding, quality and safety, and ensure regulatory compliance, performance management, and financial stewardship.

Reports to the Chief Executive Officer / Executive Director; preferred candidates hold an RN license and substantial nursing leadership experience in outpatient or community settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program and current unrestricted RN license.
• Minimum seven years of direct patient care as an RN.
• Experience in healthcare administration, supervision or management.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational leadership of the clinic, combining clinical expertise with administrative leadership.
• Oversee patient flow, staffing, schedules, supervision and performance management, onboarding and competency.
• Ensure quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and achievement of operational metrics and financial stewardship.

Day-to-day operational leadership of the clinic, combining clinical expertise with administrative and operational leadership: patient flow, staffing and schedules, supervision and performance management, onboarding and competency, quality and patient safety, regulatory compliance, policies, patient experience, operational metrics, financial stewardship and technology adoption.

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer / Executive Director

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse licence
• Minimum of seven (7) years of direct patient care experience as a Registered Nurse
• Healthcare administrative, supervisory or management experience

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Master's in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health or related field
• Experience supervising multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Experience in an outpatient, primary care, community health center, rural health clinic or FQHC setting
