Clinic Operations Manager - Murphy Center
The salary range for this position is SummitStone’s good faith belief and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this position at the time of the posting. Responsible for the smooth operation of all day-to-day activities carried out in their assigned clinic and programs. The Clinic Operations Manager ensures that clinic and program services operate effectively and efficiently, optimizes clinical and medical schedules, tracks daily clinic productivity and supports the operations staff to streamline workflows to maximize clinic capacity. This position is responsible for coordinating and managing the client’s access to care, which could include processes for scheduling, verifying insurance or other coverage, and client registration accuracy for proper billing. This position will demonstrate commitment and provide leadership for Summitstone Health Partner’s values by delivering visionary and operational leadership while fostering trust, collaboration, and a diverse and inclusive environment.
The Murphy Center Operations Manager is a dedicated, on-site leader responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a fast-paced, interdisciplinary clinic serving individuals experiencing homelessness, behavioral health conditions, substance use disorders, complex medical needs, and other barriers to care. This role ensures seamless clinic operations, supports an integrated team of medical, behavioral health, and supportive service providers, and fosters a compassionate, client-centered environment focused on access, engagement, and service excellence. Acting as a key liaison between SummitStone Health Partners, Homeward Alliance, and other community partners, the Operations Manager builds strong relationships, facilitates effective communication, resolves operational challenges, and aligns stakeholders to support high-quality, coordinated care. The ideal candidate is an experienced operational leader with strong diplomacy, adaptability, and team leadership skills, preferably with healthcare or clinical operations experience and knowledge of medical workflows. Experience managing interdisciplinary teams and working with individuals experiencing homelessness, severe mental illness, substance use disorders, and other complex social determinants of health is strongly preferred. This position requires a highly visible leader who thrives in dynamic environments, can effectively coordinate diverse disciplines, and is committed to serving vulnerable populations with dignity, respect, and compassion.
