Job summary

Waco Family Medicine is seeking a Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of 1-2 clinics in the Waco, TX area. You will manage scheduling, staffing, workflows and ensure financial and operational KPIs are met while maintaining high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or higher in healthcare admin or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years in healthcare practice management; 2+ years in leadership.
• Experience with EPIC and healthcare IT systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA and CMS standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and practice management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of 1-2 clinics, including scheduling, staffing, and workflows.
• Ensure clinics meet financial and operational KPIs; collaborate to improve performance.
• Coordinate medical equipment maintenance and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee supply ordering and inventory management; manage vendor relations.
• Lead staff recruitment, training, performance reviews, and corrective actions.
• Maintain employee records and time-off approvals.
• Lead meetings and staff development sessions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, CMS, and other regs.
• Monitor data systems such as Paycom, EPIC, MyChart and other software.
• Occasional travel between clinics; adapt hours to meet needs.
