Job summary

Amae Health is hiring a Practice Operations Manager for our Los Altos, CA clinic to lead day-to-day operations and align care delivery with clinical leadership.

You will collaborate with HR, Finance, Growth, and Technology to build scalable processes, improve patient experience, and ensure compliant, efficient operations. This is an in-person, full-time leadership role focused on high-acuity behavioral health care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in practice leadership.
• Direct experience leading multidisciplinary patient-facing teams.
• Strong desire to improve patient experience.
• Comfort with change, ambiguity, and evolving tech tools.
• Experience improving processes to boost operational outcomes.
• Experience with structured process improvement methodologies (Lean).
• Experience with SMI or similar complex patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight of day-to-day clinic operations in collaboration with the Clinical Director.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming clinic space and ensure brand alignment.
• Partner with vendors, building management, and regulatory visits.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and accurate scheduling, templates, and billing.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop staff; foster continuous improvement.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across HR, Finance, Growth, and IT.
• Drive KPIs and maintain data sources for operational excellence.
• Support patient experience and communicate about financial responsibilities.
