Job summary

Munson Healthcare, a northern Michigan healthcare system, seeks a Medical Assistant (CMA) to support the Physician/ Ambulatory Practice. You will coordinate daily operations, front office and clinical support, and patient flow within the practice.

Preferred qualifications include an Associate degree and CMA credential, with at least one year of medical assistant experience and two years of increasing responsibility in clinical settings. Vaccination requirements apply to all employees.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred - In lieu of an associate’s degree, directly related experience may be accepted.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a medical assistant- preferred
• Minimum of two years of progressively increased responsibility in a clinical or health related setting required
• Medical Assistant (CMA)preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the daily operations of the Physician Practice / Ambulatory Practice to include front office and clinical support staff as well as other patient flow functions. Performs duties as delegated within the scope of practice and validated competencies.
