Qualifications

  • Basic Life Support Heartsaver (HS) completed within 30 days of hire.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Proficient computer and phone skills; basic chart prep.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology; ability to interpret patient data.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clerical functions for office visits and scheduling.
  • Manage inventory: order, process, and track supplies/equipment.
  • Support inter-department communications and clerical tasks.
  • Answer phones, relay messages, process referrals and reminders.
  • Greet patients and coordinate information flow with staff and physicians.
  • Coordinate IT and maintenance requests to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to safety policies.
  • Demonstrate professional appearance and align with Samaritan policies.
