Job summary

INTEGRIS Health Miami Hospital and INTEGRIS Health Grove Hospital in Miami, OK and Grove, OK are hiring a day shift, full-time Clinic Nurse Supervisor. The role leads clinical staff, coordinates scheduling, and ensures quality patient care across the clinics.

Candidates must hold an active LPN or RN license in Oklahoma or via eNLC, be BLS certified, and have at least one year of RN/LPN experience; physician-practice exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active LPN/RN license in Oklahoma or eNLC member state.
• BLS Certification.
• At least 1 year of RN/LPN work experience; physician practice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing and clinical staff, including hiring, promotions, performance evaluation, skills assessments, counseling and disciplinary actions.
• Works annually with clinic manager in development of clinic budget.
• Ensures clinical staff documentation and chart review for completeness and accuracy.
• Addresses complaints in a timely manner regarding nursing functions.
• Monitors and evaluates the clinical care provided by nursing staff.
• Evaluates and communicates need for quality improvement to clinical staff.
• Responsible for clinic management activities when the clinic manager is out of the office.
• Supervises and coordinates delegation and patient care for assigned shift/area.
• Reports to the clinic manager.
• May have additional physical demand and respiratory fit test requirements.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Supervisor assists with the coordination and management of clinical activities and is responsible for scheduling, supervising, counseling and disciplining of clinical staff. This position requires population specific competencies.

• Supervises nursing and other clinical staff, including hiring, promotions, performance evaluation, skills assessments, counseling and disciplinary actions
• Works annually with clinic manager in development of clinic budget
• Ensures clinical staff is following proper procedures of documentation and chart review for completeness and accuracy
• Addresses complaints in a timely manner when it is regarding the nursing function
• Monitors and evaluates the clinical care provided by the nursing staff to all patients
• Evaluates and communicates need for quality improvement to the clinical staff
• Responsible for all clinic management activities when the clinic manager is out of the office
• Supervises and coordinates the delegation and implementation of patient care of licensed and non-licensed personnel for assigned shift/area.
• Reports to the clinic manager.
• This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements.

Hazards include exposure to human specimens, urine, blood and body fluids/secretions. All hazards are handled with extreme caution. Nurses must know and use standard universal precautions when encountering a potential biological hazard. Communicable disease precautions are taken into consideration with any possible exposure. Position is exposed daily to used needles, sharps and contaminated medical instruments. Adverse working conditions are limited to working with many patients in small work areas and wearing standard universal protective clothing.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
