Job summary

INTEGRIS Health Miami Hospital and INTEGRIS Health Grove Hospital in Miami, OK and Grove, OK, are seeking a day shift, full-time Clinic Nurse Supervisor. The role oversees nursing and clinical staff, supports clinic budgeting, and ensures documentation quality.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing and other clinical staff, including hiring, promotions, performance evaluation, skills assessments, counseling and disciplinary actions.
• Works annually with clinic manager in development of clinic budget.
• Ensures clinical staff is following proper procedures of documentation and chart review for completeness and accuracy.
• Addresses complaints in a timely manner when it is regarding the nursing function.
• Monitors and evaluates the clinical care provided by the nursing staff to all patients.
• Evaluates and communicates need for quality improvement to the clinical staff.
• Responsible for all clinic management activities when the clinic manager is out of the office.
• Supervises and coordinates the delegation and implementation of patient care of licensed and non‑licensed personnel for assigned shift/area.
• Reports to the clinic manager.

Hazards include exposure to human specimens, urine, blood and body fluids/secretions. All hazards are handled with extreme caution. Nurses must know and use standard universal precautions when encountering a potential biological hazard. Communicable disease precautions are taken into consideration with any possible exposure. Position is exposed daily to used needles, sharps and contaminated medical instruments. Adverse working conditions are limited to working with many patients in small work areas and wearing standard universal protective clothing.
