The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Clinic Nurse (RN) to provide direct care to patients undergoing radiation therapy in the James Cancer Hospital. You’ll assess, educate and coordinate nursing care as part of a multidisciplinary oncology team.
You must hold an Ohio nursing license (or interim permit) and have a degree from a CCNE/ACEN-accredited program. The role is Regular with 40 hours per week on First Shift, located at James Cancer Hospital (0375).

The team provides patient care and supportive services directed towards achievement of positive patient care outcomes, maximizing the patient’s involvement in their own plan of care, and reducing the length of hospitalization, the clinic nurse plays a critical role in staff engagement, the patient experience, quality and safety, and cost-effective care.
The Clinic Nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to the patient and their family, and for directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team. The Clinic Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating, and evaluating the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model.
Provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing radiation therapy at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
Responsibilities include patient assessment, symptom management, treatment education, care coordination, triage, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary oncology team to support safe, high-quality, patient-centered cancer care throughout the treatment continuum.
