The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute invites a Clinic Nurse to join our patient‑centered team in Columbus, OH. You will manage and deliver nursing care to patients and families, guiding the nursing team under the professional practice model.

You will assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate, and evaluate care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary oncology team, and support radiation therapy patients across the treatment

Qualificações

• RN degree from CCNE/ACEN accredited program.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit.
• Experience in relevant care setting preferred.

## Scope of PositionThe Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute’s (OSUCCC-James) mission is to improve health in Ohio and across the world through innovation in research, education, and patient care. The team provides patient care and supportive services directed towards achievement of positive patient care outcomes, maximizing the patient’s involvement in their own plan of care, and reducing the length of hospitalization, the clinic nurse plays a critical role in staff engagement, the patient experience, quality and safety, and cost-effective care.## Position SummaryThe Clinic Nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to the patient and their family, and for directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team. The Clinic Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating, and evaluating the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model.## Required QualificationsDegree in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program required. Current Ohio license or interim permit.\\*Experience in relevant care setting preferred## Additional Information:Provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing radiation therapy at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
