Job summary

Jobless is seeking a qualified nurse for our Primary Care clinic. The role requires 1–2 years of primary care experience, with 2+ years preferred, and computer familiarity. You will work in a fast-paced team environment under Provider supervision.

Responsibilities include vitals, patient interviews, med/allergy reviews, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and updating charts. Scrubs are worn; PRN negotiable; COVID PPE provided.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of nursing experience in primary care.
• Familiarity with computers required.
• Licensed as a Nurse (RN) to start.
• Strong teamwork in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities

• Check vitals and interview patients.
• Review allergies and medications.
• Manage patient care under Provider supervision.
• Phlebotomy, urine collection, throat swabs, EKG, spirometry.
• Administer injections of medications.
• Update patient charts promptly and accurately.
• Referrals and obtaining pre-certifications.
• Handle refill requests and patient documentation.
• Communicate with patients by phone or portal.

Job description

Our Primary Care clinic is searching for a qualified and motivated nurse to join our team. A minimum of 1-2 years experience in a primary care setting is required (2+ years is more desirable). Familiarity with computers is imperative. The ideal candidate will be diligent, flexible, and able to work well in a team environment. Applicants should note that this is a fast-paced work place which will challenge one to higher levels of efficiency.

• Checking vitals
• Interviewing patients
• Reviewing and updating allergies and medications
• Updating chief complaints
• Managing patient care according to each patient's needs under Provider Supervision
• Phlebotomy, Collecting Urine Specimens, Throat swabs, EKG, spirometry
• Administering injections of medications
• Verifying that patient charts are updated promptly and accurately
• Observing and recording patients' conditions and reactions to medications and treatments
• Creating and entering data in spreadsheets, drafting memos and letters when needed
• Referrals and obtaining Pre-Certifications for procedures and medication
• Attending to refill requests, patient forms, and other patient-related documentation
• Communicating with patients by phone and/or via the patient portal

Schedule: Monday to Friday

COVID-19 considerations: Masks, hand sanitizers and PPE are provided to staff. Masks are required for everyone while in the office.
