TALENT Software Services is seeking an RN to provide nursing care for participants in an outpatient clinic under PCP supervision. You will monitor vital signs, perform POC testing, manage and administer medications, and provide wound care to support efficient clinic operations.
You will document care, assist with care transitions, dispense medications, and educate participants, families, and caregivers. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for this role.
Under the direction of the Primary Care Provider (PCP) and the supervision of the Clinic Supervisor, the role is responsible for providing nursing care to participants in the clinic. This includes support with clinic overflow, checking vital signs, performing POC testing, managing and administering medications, and providing wound care and any other clinical needs in accordance with the scope of practice. The position supports clinic staff by managing ongoing care, complex clinical situations, assisting with procedures as needed, and ensuring efficient operations of the clinic. Collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders is essential to promote values, team culture, and mission.
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. From time to time, it may require overtime. Candidates must have reliable transportation and be comfortable working in an outpatient clinic setting. The role involves effectively managing triage, urgent clinical concerns, medication administration, wound care, and participant education. Strong critical thinking and excellent communication skills are essential, as this role serves as a key clinical resource for both participants and the interdisciplinary care team. Experience in acute care is highly valued; however, experience in primary care, ambulatory care, geriatrics, community health, or care coordination is also a good fit. Candidates with an acute care background such as ICU, telemetry, or medical-surgical nursing are highly desired. Experience assessing changes in condition, prioritizing care, and responding to urgent situations is particularly important.
