Job summary

Cynet Health seeks an RN Clinic Nurse in Los Angeles for a 13-week assignment. You will work Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, providing nursing care to frail, elderly participants under PCP supervision. Duties include vital signs, medications, wound care, and education.

Description:Under the direction of the Primary Care Provider and the supervision of the Clinic Supervisor, the Clinic Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care to participants in the clinic as assigned.

The Clinic Nurse will support clinic staff by managing ongoing care and complex clinical situations.

Key responsibilities include checking vital signs, performing point of care testing, managing and administering medications, and supporting wound care and any other clinical needs in accordance with scope of practice.

The position involves collaborating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to promote values, team culture, and mission.

The Clinic Nurse is required to perform ordered procedures and document care in the clinic, including medication management and administration as directed by the Primary Care Provider.

The role requires remaining alert to input from team members, participants, and caregivers and updating the RN Case Manager or other clinic staff promptly regarding any changes in participants' conditions or medical status.

Additionally, the Clinic Nurse will dispense ordered medications to participants and reinforce education regarding medications.

Providing teaching to participants, family members, and caregivers regarding disease processes and self-care techniques is also a key task.

The role includes processing medication orders, addressing medication issues, and coordinating with providers on any medication order changes.

Maintaining clinical trackers and ensuring proper stocking and restocking of medical supplies is required.

Excellent communication skills are essential, as this role serves as a key clinical resource for both participants and the interdisciplinary care team.

Bilingual skills in Spanish are a plus but not required.

Experience in acute care is highly valued; however, experience in primary care, ambulatory care, geriatrics, community health, or care coordination is also preferred.

Experience assessing changes in condition and responding to urgent situations is particularly important.
