Job summary

South Plains Rural Health Services, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Levelland outpatient clinic team.

You will work with providers and a collaborative care team to deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting. The role requires current Texas LVN or RN licensure and CPR/BLS certification; outpatient/primary care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Texas LVN or RN license is required.
• CPR/BLS certification required or ability to obtain as required.
• Experience in outpatient, primary care, or clinical nursing is preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Electronic health record experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver quality patient care in an outpatient setting.
• Assess patients and obtain appropriate clinical information.
• Administer medications, injections, and treatments as ordered.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Provide patient education and reinforce provider instructions.
• Review and respond to patient needs and clinical communications.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
• Coordinate care with providers and other members of the healthcare team.
• Follow infection control, medication safety, HIPAA, and organizational policies.
• Perform additional nursing responsibilities within the scope of LVN or RN licensure.

We are looking for a nurse who enjoys patient-centered care, works well as part of a collaborative healthcare team, and is committed to serving our community.

What You'll Do

The LVN/RN works closely with providers and other clinical staff to coordinate and deliver quality patient care in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities may include:

• Assess patients and obtain appropriate clinical information.

• Administer medications, injections, and treatments as ordered and permitted by licensure.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
