Job summary

South Plains Rural Health Services is seeking an LVN or RN to join our Levelland outpatient nursing team. The role focuses on patient-centered care, collaboration with clinicians, and serving the local community.

The nurse will work in a busy outpatient setting, coordinating care, administering medications, and providing patient education while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Texas LVN or RN license.
• Nursing license required for the role.
• CPR/BLS certification required or able to obtain.
• Experience in outpatient or primary care nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• EHR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and obtain clinical information.
• Administer medications, injections, and treatments as ordered.
• Perform nursing care within licensure scope.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Provide patient education and reinforce instructions.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
• Coordinate care with providers and the healthcare team.
• Follow infection control, medication safety, HIPAA, and organizational policies.
