Job summary

Fort Wayne Orthopedics is seeking a Clinic Nurse (RN or LPN) to support our physicians and clinicians in the Fort Wayne clinic. This full-time role focuses on patient intake, assessments, post-op care, injections or minor procedures, diagnostic scheduling, and comprehensive EHR documentation.

Based at our W. Jefferson office, the nurse will provide phone support to patients, ensure efficient room turnover, manage supplies, and may assist at nearby locations.

Qualifications

• Must possess RN or LPN licensure.
• Clinic experience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants with patient care in the clinic.
• Handle patient intake and assessment, post-op care, and injections or minor procedures.
• Perform suture/staple removal and scheduling of diagnostic services.
• Document in the EHR and answer patient calls; monitor supplies and room turnover.
• Position based at Fort Wayne W. Jefferson office; may assist at nearby locations.

Duties include patient intake, assessment, suture/staple removal, post-op care, assisting with injections or small office procedures, diagnostic scheduling, EHR documentation, answering patient calls, room turnover, and monitoring supplies. Many learning and growth opportunities! Position is based at our W. Jefferson office in Fort Wayne; may assist at other nearby locations. Must possess clinical certification/licensure as a RN or LPN. Full-time, Monday thru Friday.
