Job summary

Fort Wayne Orthopedics seeks a Clinical Assistant Level 1 for the OrthoStat Walk-in Clinic in Fort Wayne, IN. This is a full-time position, three days per week, with shifts from 7am to 7pm and rotating Saturdays at the main or Dupont locations.

The ideal candidate holds CMA/CCMA/RMA/PTA/ATC credentials or is eligible for certification within six months, and will support physicians with patient intake, injections, testing coordination, EHR documentation and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Must possess a clinical certification or license or be eligible to obtain certification or license within the first six months of employment.
• CMA, CCMA, RMA, PTA or ATC credentials are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient intake and coordinate diagnostic testing.
• Assist with assessments, injections and routine office procedures.
• Support doctors and PAs in patient care and rounds.
• Maintain EHR documentation and room turnover.
• Monitor inventory and assist with office processes and workflow.
• Cover shifts and weekend rotation as needed.

Our Clinical Assistants are valued members of the patient care team, providing hands-on support to Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants. Responsibilities include patient intake, assisting with assessments, helping with injections and office procedures, coordinating diagnostic testing, EHR documentation, room turnover, and inventory management. We offer a variety of learning opportunities and room for professional growth. Position is based in Fort Wayne, but may cover at other OrthoStat locations as needed. Must possess a clinical certification or license or be eligible to obtain certification or license within the first six months of employment. CMA, CCMA, RMA, PTA, or ATC credentials are preferred. Full-time, three days per week 7am to 7p/clinic close. Will rotate to cover Saturday hours at our main office or Dupont clinic every six weeks.
