Job summary

Fort Wayne Orthopedics is seeking a Clinical Assistant Level 1 to join our Fort Wayne clinic. This full-time role supports Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants with patient intake, assessment, and post-operative care, while ensuring accurate EHR documentation.

You will assist with injections or minor office procedures, manage room turnover, schedule diagnostic tests, monitor supplies, and may travel to nearby satellite clinics as needed.

Qualifications

• CMA, CCMA, RMA, PTA or ATC certification preferred.
• Clinical certification/licensure required.
• Full-time, Mon-Fri; willingness to travel to satellite clinics.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and clinicians with patient intake and assessment.
• Perform suture or staple removal and provide post-operative care.
• Assist with injections or simple office procedures as needed.
• Schedule diagnostics and document in the EHR.
• Maintain room turnover and monitor clinical supplies.

As a vital member of our patient care team our Clinical Assistants provide support to Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in our clinical office setting. Duties include patient intake, assessment, suture/staple removal, post-op care, assisting with injections or small office procedures, diagnostic scheduling, EHR documentation, room turnover, and monitoring supplies. Many learning and growth opportunities! Position is based in Fort Wayne and may travel to nearby satellite clinics with a physician as needed. Must possess clinical certification/licensure; CMA, CCMA, RMA, PTA or ATC preferred. Full-time, Mon-Fri.
