Job summary

Pavilion Clinic - DRH Cardiology in Duncan, OK is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support physicians during patient visits. The role includes rooming patients, obtaining vitals, reviewing history and reconciling medications, and documenting in the EMR.

Qualifications

• English fluency in both oral and written form.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician and advanced practice providers with all aspects of patient visits.
• Room patients to obtain vitals, HPI, review history, and reconcile medications.
• Document information accurately in EMR.
• Ensure results are available from tests since last visit.
• Keep exam, lab, and procedure rooms and equipment ready.
• Order medical supplies to maintain levels.
• Travel to other clinics as needed to provide coverage.
• Provide phlebotomy services and perform basic tests.
• Communicate results to patients and answer messages.
• Adhere to safety protocols and DRH standards.
