Job summary

Southwest Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a reliable Clinic Medical Assistant to join our busy outpatient team. You will support providers, care for patients, and help keep the clinic running smoothly and efficiently.

In this role, you will record medical history and vitals, administer medications as directed, educate patients on treatments, manage patient flow, sterilize equipment, and maintain accurate charts and test results to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient care and minor procedures.
• Record medical history, vitals, and key information.
• Administer medications and injections as directed.
• Educate patients on treatments and medications.
• Maintain timely patient flow and notify delays.
• Prepare and sterilize equipment; stock exam and procedure rooms.
• Review sample medications, monitor expiration dates, and order supplies as needed.
• Screen phone calls for the provider and relay messages appropriately.
• Maintain accurate patient charts, records, and test results.
