Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers and the nursing staff in delivering timely patient care. You will room patients, manage flow, document in EMR, and assist with procedures as needed.

Required to complete a Medical Assistant program; BLS certifications are preferred. A $2,000 starting bonus is available for eligible external talent, with a 0.8 FTE schedule and daytime hours, no weekends.

Qualifications

• Medical Terminology is preferred.
• Must have completed a Medical Assistant program or comparable healthcare education with clinical training.

Responsibilities

• Rooms patients, manages patient flow and documents information in EMR.
• Assists with injections, prepares patients for exams, and supports providers and RN.
