Qualifications include a high school diploma, MA residency or certification within 12 months, and knowledge of medical terminology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• Completion of the MA residency or certification within 12 months of hire.
• Medical Terminology, Medication History, and New Clinic Staff Class within 6 months and/or prior to testing.

Responsibilities

• Supports patient care and treatment under general supervision and collaborates with physicians, APPs, RNs, LPNs and other staff.
• Prepares room, equipment and supplies for examinations and procedures.
• Schedules admissions, appointments, tests and procedures; may assist with registration and co-pays.

Education
