Job summary

Billings Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant I to support internal medicine teams in a fast-paced clinic environment in Billings, MT. You will assist with patient intake, scheduling, vital signs, and basic procedures, ensuring accurate documentation and patient comfort.

Under supervision, you will collaborate with physicians, APPs, RNs, and other staff to deliver high-quality patient care, manage clinic workflows, and uphold HIPAA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of MA residency or certification within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and supplies based on patient needs and procedure type.
• Assist with patient scheduling, registrations, and co-pay collection.
• Record patient histories, vital signs, and other relevant data.
• Assist with minor procedures and exams, with proper documentation.
• Maintain patient records and confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Provide basic patient education as directed by physicians or APPs.
