Job summary

KVH Hospital in Ellensburg, WA is seeking a Clinic Medical Assistant (MA-C) for General & Vascular Surgery. This is a full-time, 40 hours/week position supporting providers with rooming, vital signs, procedures, injections, med refills, and record updates.

Required: CMA program graduate and WA state license, current BLS, and EMR experience. Preferred: bilingual English/Spanish, CWCA wound certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Certified Medical Assistant program and licensed in Washington state.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider.
• Experience with an Electronic Medical Records system.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and take vital signs.
• Assist with medical procedures and administer injections/medications.
• Verify and update patient records; refill medications; notify patients of test results.
• May float to support other KVH clinics.
