DRH Health is seeking a team-oriented professional to assist physicians and advanced practice providers during patient visits. You will help coordinate communications with patients through portals and calls, and travel to different clinics as needed.
Your responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining vitals, updating histories, reconciling medications, and documenting in the EMR with accuracy. You will also maintain exam rooms and assist with basic tests and phlebotomy.
Assist physician and advanced practice providers with all aspects of patient visits. Facilitate patient and physician/advanced practice provider communication via patient portal, phone, or other communication method. Float to other clinics as needed.
Minimum Qualifications: Communication skills including fluency in oral and written English. Basic computer skills with information technology associated with the position. Previous EMR experience preferred. Accuracy is critical when executing physician or provider orders. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to remain flexible to quickly adapt to urgent situations. Ability to adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment, and techniques to accomplish the requirements of the position.
Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or GED and/or 2 years of experience preferred. Ability to adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment, and techniques to accomplish the requirements of the position. Ability to travel to various clinics around the facility.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: For those positions requiring travel, a current valid driver’s license in good standing and automobile liability insurance must be maintained.
