Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Pulmonary and Sleep Clinic in Winchester, TN. This full-time day-shift role supports a focused clinical team delivering patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include direct patient care under RN supervision, care planning, wound care, ADL assistance, and coordinating appointments. Active TN LPN license and BLS are required; benefits include comprehensive coverage and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• LPN License for the State of Tennessee.
• Graduate of a Practical Nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision and delegated by a registered nurse.
• Perform plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care; may administer medication.
• Assist RN with development of plan of care.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation).
• Monitor and document patient status and reactions to interventions; communicate with RN/physician/families.
• Advocate for patient's physical and emotional well-being.
• Schedule appointments and procedures as ordered by the provider; obtain insurance re-auths as requested.
