Southern Tennessee Regional Health System Pulaski is seeking a Clinic LPN to join the First Choice Health Clinic (Primary Care/Walk-In). This PRN daytime role involves direct patient care under an RN, with responsibilities across plan of care, patient assistance, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Active Tennessee LPN license; graduate of a practical nursing program.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a clinic setting.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a registered nurse.
• Perform plan-of-care interventions, specimen collection and wound care; administer medications as allowed.
• Assist RN with developing and updating the plan of care.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including hygiene, nutrition, and mobility.
• Monitor and document patient status; communicate with RN, physicians, patients and families.
• Advocate for patients’ physical and emotional well-being.
• Schedule clinic visits and procedures; obtain insurance re-authorizations as needed.
