Job summary

Christus Health in Shreveport, LA, seeks an LPN for clinic support. Qualifications

• Assists provider with examinations and patient flow in the clinic.
• Performs basic patient care duties under physician or RN supervision, including vital signs and specimen collection.

Responsibilities

• Under physician direction, performs basic patient care duties including obtaining vital signs and weighing patients.
• Collects specimens and assists with phlebotomy as site requires.
• Assists with patient scheduling, test results, pre-certification, and medication refills as needed.
• Administers medications/immunizations according to provider orders.
• Cleans and restocks exam rooms and maintains sterile technique and universal protocol.
