Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Shreveport is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to support clinic patients under physician supervision. You will perform basic patient care tasks, obtain vitals, collect specimens, and assist with examinations and procedures.

You will also handle patient calls, scheduling, medication refills, immunizations, and keep the exam rooms clean and stocked. The role operates 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, and is full-time.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid LPN license in the state of employment or a compact
• BLS certification required
• Certified in CERT (emergency response) or related certification

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and record patient information.
• Perform basic patient care duties and assist with examinations.
• Collect specimens and assist with phlebotomy as site requires.
• Assist with medication refills and immunizations per provider orders.
• Prepare exam rooms, stock supplies, and maintain charting and scheduling tasks.
