Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking an LPN or CMA to support a busy clinic, ensuring smooth patient flow and up-to-date charts. You’ll lead proactive preparation, accompany patients to exam rooms, and adapt to physician schedules to keep the clinic efficient and empathetic.

The role includes assisting with medications, dressings, labs, and coordinating follow-up care while maintaining strong collaboration with the clinical team. Sign-on bonus available for eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing for LPN or CMA education.
• MN Licensed Practical Nurse or CMA.
• Basic Life Support – CPR.

Responsibilities

• Checks schedules and organizes patient flow.
• Accompanies patients to the exam room and updates electronic medical records.
• Prepares patients for exams/procedures.
• Assists/performs medication administration, dressings and collecting of lab specimens as instructed.
• Relays information regarding follow-up care and return visit to patients and families.
• Schedules tests and procedures as directed.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or CMA, you’ll keep the day running smoothly and efficiently for your patients and clinical team. You’ll take the lead on proactive preparation of patient charts; ensuring all information is obtained and up-to-date for those seen in our facility. Every day, you'll manage care for multiple patients, adapting to physician availability on-site, and actively collaborate with your clinical team to prioritize tasks and ensure seamless patient flow throughout the clinic. Your success in this role comes from your enthusiasm to help others, work efficiently, and your empathy for our patients.

We are offering a $2,500 Sign-On Bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Job Requirements

Required

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing for LPN or CMA education

Preferred

• EPIC EMR experience
• Previous experience as an LPN or CMA
