Job summary

CHI St. Alexius Health in Bismarck, ND, is seeking a Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to keep the day running smoothly for patients and the clinical team.

You will lead proactive chart preparation, ensuring information is current for those seen in our facility and coordinate care with on-site physicians. You will manage care for multiple patients, adapt to physician availability, and collaborate with your team to prioritize tasks and ensure seamless patient flow.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing
• Licensed by the North Dakota Board of Nursing
• Preferred: One year clinical or hospital experience

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you’ll keep the day running smoothly and efficiently for your patients and clinical team. You will take the lead on proactive preparation of patient charts; ensuring all information is obtained and up-to-date for those seen in our facility. Every day, you will manage care for multiple patients, adapting to physician availability on-site, and actively collaborate with your clinical team to prioritize tasks and ensure seamless patient flow throughout the clinic. To be successful in this role, you must have an enthusiasm to help others, work efficiently, and with empathy for our patients.

• Care Planning: Utilizes the nursing process to develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to improve patient outcomes
• Family Support: Collaborates with patients and their families to ensure a holistic approach to care and goal achievement
• Patient/Family Education: Assesses and meets the educational needs of patients and their families by applying evidence-based teaching principles
• Staff Mentorship: Provides guidance and education to coworkers to foster a knowledgeable and skilled clinical environment
