Job summary

Alcona Health Center in Alpena is seeking a Clinical Lead to guide the medical support team and site operations. You will supervise clinical support staff, coordinate with the Site Manager, and champion clinic initiatives while ensuring adherence to established health and safety standards.

Responsibilities include staff training, inventory management, and collaboration with providers to optimize patient care and office workflows within a federally qualified health center setting.

Qualifications

• Possesses a current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) CPR certification or obtain within six months of start of employment.
• Successful completion of a Medical Assistant program (certification or registration strongly preferred), completion of a Certified Nurse Assistant course (CNA), or possess licensure as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, EMT or Paramedic.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the clinic leader and initiative champion for medical support staff and site support staff with clinic site management.
• Performs administrative functions as assigned by the site manager, such as payroll functions, reports, and initiatives.
• Provides training and assistance regarding techniques and best practices of tasks and duties.
• Leads group discussions and meetings such as at medical support staff meetings.
• Maintains inventory, ordering clinical supplies, and completes quality controls.
