Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to float across Mercyhealth Physician Clinic-Rockton, Urgent Care-Dixon, Alpine-Loves Park, McFarland-Rockford, and Cherry Valley-Rockford. The role provides patient-centered care, administers medications, and supports safety and quality through collaboration with the care team.

The nurse will perform assessments, develop and implement care plans, educate patients and families, and participate in performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Licensed RN in state of practice; CPR/BLS within 90 days.
• Certification requirements per department (ACLS/PALS/PEARS/NRP as applicable).

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments.
• Performs assessments, planning, intervention and evaluation of care.
• Documents according to standards of care.
• Develops and initiates a patient plan of care.
• Provides patient and family education.
• Participates in performance improvement activities.
• Supports patient safety and quality initiatives.
