Job summary

Spine & Sport Physical Therapy in Encinitas, CA is seeking a Clinic Director/Physical Therapist to lead our outpatient orthopedic clinic. New grads encouraged to apply; you will oversee staff, scheduling, budgeting, and patient flow while driving clinic growth and profitability.

The role offers a base salary of $95,000–$130,000 plus quarterly incentives, student loan repayment up to $25,000, relocation/sign-on bonus, mentorship, and residency options to support your clinical leadership journey.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a clinician (PT, OT, PTA, OTA).
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, with 1 year in supervisory or managerial role.
• Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy, or completion of an accredited PTA/OTA program.
• CPR certification and any other relevant certifications as required by state regulations.
• Strong clinical skills with experience in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric physical therapy.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate clinic growth and drive clinic processes.
• Resolve scheduling and documentation issues for staff.
• Set annual clinic goals and budgets.
• Remove roadblocks and motivate team to achieve goals.
• Facilitate referral relationships and growth opportunities.
• Communicate with Front Office and Business Development about trends.
• Review financials and adjust to improve profitability.
• Foster a positive clinic culture with regular meetings.
• Enforce policies and celebrate team wins.
• Escalate issues and use dashboards/EHR to guide actions.
• Make staffing decisions based on business input.
