Job summary

Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) is seeking an energetic Clinic Director to lead a single outpatient orthopedic clinic in the San Diego area. You will oversee staff management, scheduling, budgeting, and patient flow to drive profitability and patient satisfaction.

The ideal candidate holds current PT or PTA licensure, with at least 3 years of clinical experience and at least 1 year in a leadership role.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as PT or PTA to be eligible.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, with 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.
• CPR certification and any other relevant certifications as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate clinic growth and drive clinic processes; adjust based on inputs (staffing mix, DUPV, offered specialties).
• Resolve scheduling and documentation issues for clinicians or staff.
• Set annual clinic goals and budget; manage resources.
• Remove roadblocks to achieve team goals; facilitate referrals and growth.
• Communicate with Front Office and Business Development about referral trends or gaps.
• Review financial reporting and make real-time corrective adjustments (bad debt, no-shows).
• Foster an employee-friendly clinic culture through 1:1 and team meetings; motivate staff.
• Escalate issues promptly and use dashboards/EHR to determine actions.
• Make staffing decisions based on business input.

About The Role

Skills & Qualifications

• Has a list of strong referral sources within the community, preferred
• Valid state licensure as a clinician (PT, OT, PTA, OTA)
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, with 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role
• Doctorate or Master\'s degree in Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy, or completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant/Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• CPR certification and any other relevant certifications as required by state regulations
• Strong clinical skills with experience in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric physical therapy (preferred)
