Job summary

PRO-PT Physical Therapy is opening a new clinic in Bakersfield, CA, and seeks a Clinic Director - Physical Therapist to lead operations, mentor a team of PTs/PTAs, and deliver exceptional patient care.

You will oversee daily clinic functions, drive growth, and maintain Second-to-None patient experiences while aligning with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current or pending California Physical Therapist license.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or ability to obtain before patient care.
• Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop PTs, PTAs, and staff while fostering a positive, collaborative clinic culture.
• Oversee daily operations, staffing, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Provide hands-on, evidence-based care while delivering the Second-to-None experience.
• Build relationships with patients, referral partners, and community to support clinic growth.
• Collaborate with leadership to maintain standards and drive continual improvement.

The Essentials

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current or pending California Physical Therapist license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or ability to obtain before providing patient care
• Strong clinical knowledge, communication skills, and a commitment to exceptional patient care
