Spine & Sport Physical Therapy in Brawley, CA seeks a Clinic Director for outpatient orthopedic care. Lead clinic operations, manage staff, scheduling, budgeting and patient flow to drive growth and profitability.

The ideal candidate holds a state license (PT/OT/PTA/COTA), has 3+ years clinical experience with supervisory exposure, and a related advanced degree. Excellent leadership and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted state license as PT, OT, PTA, or COTA.
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience with 1 year in supervisory/managerial role.
• Doctorate or Master’s in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy or accredited PTA/COTA program.
• CPR certification and other state-required certifications.
• Strong clinical skills in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric physical therapy.
• Prefer strong referral sources within the community.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate clinic growth and drive processes; adjust approach based on inputs.
• Resolve scheduling and documentation issues for clinician or staff.
• Set annual clinic goals and budget.
• Remove roadblocks to achieve team goals.
• Foster referral relationships and involve team for growth.
• Communicate referral trends with Front Office and Business Development.
• Review financial reporting and adjust as needed (bad debt, no-shows).
• Establish employee-friendly clinic culture via 1:1s and team meetings.
• Reinforce policies and celebrate team wins.
• Escalate issues promptly and use dashboards/EHR to decide course of action.
• Make staffing decisions based on business input.
