Job summary

Spero Rehab, operating within Intune Physical Therapy, seeks a Clinic Director to lead clinical and operational excellence in the Austin/Houston region. You will shape practice strategy, oversee staff including PTs and admin, and ensure high-quality patient care while aligning with organizational goals.

The role emphasizes mentorship, regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, and community outreach to grow the patient base.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program, or eligibility to obtain (preferred).
• Unrestricted licensure as a Physical Therapist to practice in applicable state, or eligibility to obtain (preferred).
• 3+ years’ experience as a physical therapist; supervisory experience.
• Residency training or board certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care and manage clinic operations.
• Approve timecards and vacation requests for staff.
• Ensure staff compliance with policies, safety regulations, and standards.
• Lead team meetings to discuss patient plans of care and interventions.
• Mentor and guide new graduates and junior therapists.
• Monitor clinic performance and coordinate with regional directors for development.
• Ensure efficient, patient-focused operations while meeting organizational goals.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, purchase equipment and supplies, oversee facility maintenance.
• Develop relationships with physicians to grow patient volume.
