Job summary

Northeast Health Services, a member of Transformations Care Network, is seeking a Clinic Director for a community-based outpatient clinic in Somerville, MA. You will guide a multidisciplinary team and oversee services expanding access to quality mental health care within shared services and clinical peers.

The role requires leadership in operations and finance, with supervision responsibilities and a focus on regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Professional Counseling, or related field from an accredited program meeting licensure requirements.
• Active MA LMHC or LICSW if providing clinical services and comply with board requirements for supervision.
• Experience managing an outpatient mental health team and overseeing clinic operations.
• Understanding of clinic financial performance and data-driven operational decisions.
• Experience providing clinical supervision and supporting clinician development.
• Knowledge of mental health regulations and current standards of care.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and other software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multidisciplinary clinic operations and quality of care.
• Provide budgetary oversight and manage the clinic PnL.
• Lead and develop clinic staff, managing productivity and performance expectations.
• Monitor staffing needs and align appointment capacity with client demand.
• Collaborate with local medical leadership on adherence to medication management protocols.
• Provide clinical supervision within licensure and board requirements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
• Coordinate with Facilities to address site needs.
• Partner with the Outreach team to strengthen referral relationships and support clinic growth.
• Support new clinic openings and establish local operations.
• Manage service lines, including TMS and Spravato®, in coordination with clinical teams.
• Maintain a therapy caseload of 8–10 clients weekly, when applicable.

Compensation

Northeast Health Services is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The compensation range for this role is $90,000–$95,000. Actual compensation may vary based on licensure, experience, market-driven enhancements, and incentive opportunities available for this role. These ranges represent our current standard compensation practices and may be adjusted over time to remain competitive and aligned with organizational needs.
