Beatrice Community Hospital in Beatrice, NE, is seeking a Clinic Coder for Revenue Cycle to review clinical documentation and assign accurate modifiers, as well as diagnosis, CPT, and HCPCS codes in a Rural Health Clinic setting.

The role supports compliant billing, accurate reimbursement, clean claims submission, denial prevention, and adherence to coding requirements. Remote work may be considered after training and demonstrated competencies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited coding/health information program preferred.
• Coding certification preferred, such as CPC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, RHIA, CCA or equivalent credential.
• 1-3 years of clinic, professional or specialty coding experience preferred.
• Experience in a rural health clinic preferred.
• Previous HCC coding experience preferred.
• Previous experience with Epic and 3M Encoder preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review clinical documentation and assign accurate modifiers; and diagnosis, CPT, and HCPCS codes in a Rural Health Clinic setting.
• Support compliant billing, accurate reimbursement, and clean claims submission; denial prevention.
• Adhere to federal, state, payer and organizational coding requirements.

Shift Schedule:

Full-time ; Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Flexible scheduling available. Remote work may be an option following the training period and successful demonstration of billing competencies.
