UP Health System - Portage is seeking a Clinic Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for full-time day shift. The role involves direct patient care, basic diagnostic procedures, specimen collection, and clerical duties in a clinic setting.

Formación

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• One-year related experience preferred; one year clinic experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct and individualized care to clinic patients.
• Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection; monitors and communicates changes in patient condition.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning and troubleshooting; maintains examination areas.
• Performs administrative or clerical duties such as filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
