UP Health System - Portage is hiring a Clinic CMA to provide direct patient care in a busy outpatient setting. You will perform basic diagnostic procedures, collect specimens, monitor patient conditions, and document care while maintaining clean, stocked examination areas.

Requirements include CMA or RMA certification and a high school diploma; one year of clinic experience preferred, with BLS. Comprehensive benefits and a sign-on bonus are available.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) license required and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum 1 year related clinic experience preferred; BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct and individualized care to clinic patients.
• Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection; monitors and communicates changes in patient condition; documents care.
• Maintains equipment, supplies, and examination areas; reorders and stocks as needed; cleans and troubleshoots equipment.
• Performs administrative duties including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
