Job summary

Southern Illinois Healthcare in Carbondale, IL seeks a clinical office assistant to support physicians and caregivers in an ambulatory setting. You will work to document accurate information in the EMR and ensure patient rooms are prepared promptly.

Responsibilities include maintaining medication storage policies, monitoring expirations, and delivering compassionate care to patients and families under supervision. BLS certification is required; CNA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS certification; CNA certification preferred.
• 1 year of clinical office experience preferred; ability to perform manual blood pressure.

**Position Summary** • Responsible for working collaboratively with physicians and other caregivers to deliver appropriate treatment and medical interventions in an ambulatory office setting.**Education** • High School diploma or equivalent**Licenses and Certification** • Current BLS certification; BLS from American Heart Association (AHA) preferred • Certified Nurses Aid certification preferred**Experience and Skills** • Technical Experience: 1 year of clinical office experience preferred.
