Job summary

Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas (CHC/SEK) seeks an RN to join the clinical care team. The nurse will perform in-clinic nursing care, triage patients, administer immunizations, supervise procedures, and support patient intake and discharge with education.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice (or multistate license).
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience in an outpatient clinic.
• BLS certification obtained within 6 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Rooming of patients, taking histories, vitals, and updating medication lists.
• Administer vaccines and supervise immunizations; assist with procedures; perform phlebotomy and EKGs.
• Discharge patients with education on medications and follow-up.
• Triage patients and manage clinic flow; participate in daily huddle and care team meetings.
• Maintain instruments and supplies; ensure safety and cleanliness; respond to emergencies.
