Job summary

Aviation ABA Therapy LLC is seeking a Clinic Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver 1:1 ABA therapy in a dedicated Salt Lake County clinic. You will work with a BCBA on skilled programs in a supportive, team-focused environment.

This role eliminates in-home work, reduces travel, and offers supervision, mentorship, and growth opportunities toward BCBA certification. Competitive pay: $22–$27 per hour, with earned PTO and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification required or willingness to obtain with company support.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.
• Reliable transportation to the clinic location in South Salt Lake.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and use tablets for data collection.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct 1:1 ABA therapy sessions in the clinic.
• Implement skill-building programs using play-based and structured methods.
• Collect and record behavioral data on tablets after each session.
• Collaborate daily with RBTs and BCBA on client progress.
• Participate in parent training sessions, team meetings, and generalization activities.
• Assist with clinical assessments, materials preparation, and session organization.
• Follow individualized behavior intervention plans and clinic safety protocols.
• Maintain client confidentiality (HIPAA) and step into lead therapist responsibilities when assigned.

Clinic Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Position Overview

As a Clinic Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Aviation ABA Therapy, you'll provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to children in a vibrant, team-oriented clinic — not alone in someone's home. You'll work under the supervision of a BCBA who's physically present and accessible, implement individualized treatment plans, and build meaningful skills with your clients in a space that's purpose-built for therapy.

Clinic Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Responsibilities

• Deliver direct 1:1 ABA therapy sessions in the clinic as directed by your supervising BCBA

• Implement skill-building programs using play-based and structured teaching methods (DTT, NET)

• Collect and record behavioral data electronically using tablets/iPads after each session

• Collaborate daily with fellow RBTs and your BCBA on client progress, session strategies, and problem-solving

• Participate in parent training sessions, team meetings and generalization activities

• Assist with clinical assessments, materials preparation, and therapy session organization

• Follow individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and clinic safety protocols

• Maintain professional boundaries and uphold client confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)

• Step into lead therapist responsibilities when assigned

Clinic Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

– Requirements

• Active RBT certification required (or willingness to obtain certification with company support)

• High school diploma or equivalent (required); college coursework in psychology, education, or related field (preferred)

• Reliable transportation to the clinic location in South Salt Lake

• Ability to kneel, squat, sit on the floor, and lift up to 25 lbs

• Comfortable using tablets and iPads for electronic data collection

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Genuine passion for working with children with autism and developmental disabilities

• Eligible to work in the United States with a valid driver's license and insurance
