Job summary

Novant Health Ortho & Sports Medicine Ballantyne seeks a Clinic Athletic Trainer to join the rehabilitation care team and help bridge formal rehab with activity goals. You will work with athletes, adults and individuals to reach peak performance for competition and life.

Responsibilities include intake, exams, tests and documentation under supervision, plus contributing to community outreach and promoting Novant Health within the entity.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of CAATE-accredited athletic training education.
• NATABOC certification required; NCBATE licensed or eligible; BLS within 30 days.
• Graduate degree preferred; strong mentoring and client education skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient intake, including history and current complaints.
• Conduct physical examinations and functional testing under supervision.
• Assist in developing and implementing developmental performance plans.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation team to bridge rehab and activity goals.
